Residential Construction Estimator

Job Description:  We are looking for Commercial & Residential Estimators to join our growing team. We are a General Contractor with steady year-round work and a competitive compensation package. If you are looking for a Team atmosphere and the potential for growth, we are the company for you.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Basic construction knowledge
• Compile and plan budget, cost estimates and other financial estimates
• Develop scopes of work for each contractor pertaining to a specific job
• Explore documents to get a deep understanding of project requirements
• Prepare bid packages
• Submit quotations and costs for work to be done
• Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
• Design construction project with architect, engineers, and trade workers
• Research cost of items such as materials, delivery, labor & equipment
• Procure materials and supplies
• Provide internal reporting and projections
• Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, city guidelines and local and state regulations are adhered to
• Visit sites of projects to be estimated

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience as a construction estimator
• Attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills and phone demeanor
• Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and electronically through email
• Above average match skills
• Ability to multitask
• Experience with BuilderTrend and/or other project quoting software
• Willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license
  

Carpenter

Job Description: We are looking for Carpenters to join our growing team. We are a General Contractor with steady year-round work and a competitive compensation package. If you are looking for a team atmosphere and the potential for growth, we are the company for you.

This position is hands on and you must have your own small tools. The work includes but is not limited to decks, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole home remolding, and finish carpentry for residential and at times, commercial work. Our work area is approximately 1-Hour radius from Douglassville, PA.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Mobilize and prepare job site for construction
• Perform demolition of site
• Perform wood framing
• Perform drywall and painting
• Install door frames, door slabs and hardware
• Perform finishing carpentry (install cabinetry, millwork, etc.)
• Perform saw cutting, masonry and concrete
• Install acoustical ceiling (tile and grid)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience as carpenter, journeyman, or lead carpenter
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Ability to left, bend, stoop and stand
• Willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  

Laborer

Job Description: We are currently looking to hire a motivated carpenter helper and/or carpenters. We are looking for someone to assist our lead carpenters in the field. This position is hands on and you must have your own small tools. The position will allow someone to be self-sufficient yet grow by shadowing a more experienced tradesman who can teach them and answer questions, increasing their knowledge and capabilities. We are looking for someone that fits with our companies’ values and goals and wants to grow with us. The work includes but is not limited to decks, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole home remolding, and finish carpentry for residential and at times, commercial work. Our work area is approximately 1-Hour radius from Douglassville, PA.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• De-mobilize and cleanup of site
